Pat Harrison is a full-time licensed fishing guide, United States Coast Guard licensed charter captain, and influential angler from northern Illinois. A resident of northwest Chicago suburb of Park Ridge, Harrison has over 35 years worth of angling experience, with 7 seasons of guiding under his belt. After taking courses and undergoing certification, Harrison became a USCG certified captain 2 years ago.
Harrison specializes in guiding the waters of Northern Illinois (Shabbona Lake, Fox Chain of Lakes, Lake Michigan, Illinois River, Chicago River) and Southern Wisconsin (Delavan Lake, Geneva Lake, Madison Chain, Wisconsin River) for bass, walleye and panfish. He also guides on many other bodies of water, and offers specific trips on many more regional waters upon request.
Across Chicagoland throughout the years, Harrison has been featured in several newspaper articles within the Chicago Tribune and Sun-Times, and been a guest on radio programs, and appears as an exhibitor at our area sport shows and conventions. He has also been active as a participating member or coordinator with several fishing clubs that includes Arlington Anglers, Riverside Fishing Club, and Fox River Valley Muskies Inc (FRV). He has also volunteered for many fishing-related charities and events such as Andrea Lynn Cancer Charity and its annual Walk on Water Ice Fishing Derby, Take Me Fishing.org, Wounded Warriors, and Take a Vet Fishing programs. In an age where online media is dominating the angling industry, Pat has been featured in Fishing-Headquarters Online Magazine, and is an ambassador with World Fishing Network.
